¿Qué es el Proyecto Legere? / What is Legere Project?

Español:Legere es un proyecto, sin ánimo de lucro, que buscó ayudar a las familias no hispanohablantes de La Ola del Lago, una escuela de inmersión en español de Minnesota, Estados Unidos.
La intención de este programa fue ayudar a mejorar las habilidades lectoras y la capacidad de comprensión de aquellos alumnos que necesitaban un pequeño refuerzo.
La idea era tomar un breve fragmento de un libro y leerlo frente a una grabadora. Esta pista, que era subida al canal de Ivoox, se publicaba en el Blog acompañada del texto que se había leído y de un resumen del mismo.
Con estos tres recursos (el texto, la lectura y el resumen), repartidos en diferentes niveles de dificultad y en dos géneros (ficción y no-ficción), se esperaba que los alumnos pudieran trabajar y progresar en sus hogares.
El proyecto terminó con resultados bastante positivos.

Legere is a non-profit project that hopes to help non-Spanish speaking families whose children attend La ola del lago, a Spanish Immersion School located in Minnesota, United States.
The purpose for the program is to provide a little extra support which will help improve students’ reading habits as well as strength their reading comprehension and fluency.
The idea is to take short texts from a grade level book, and then make a recording. This recording will be uploaded to the lvoox channel, and then published on the Blog along with the text and a summary.
With these three resources (text, recording, and summary) along with the texts being divided into different levels of difficulty and genre (fiction and non-fiction), students are expected to be able to work and grow in their reading abilities at home.

1º: Escucha el audio 1 siguiendo la lectura.

1º: Listen to the first audio following the reading.

2º: Lee el texto en voz alta mientras escuchas el 2º audio.

2º: Read the text out loud while you listen the second audio.

3º: ¿Has conseguido leerlo bien? Ahora prueba a volver a leerlo, pero esta vez sin escuchar el audio.

4º: Escucha el audio de la lectura a velocidad normal y trata de repetirlo después.
